The default dates for the new session will be set to your current session to give you a fresh start. So, the statistics and questions will start over as if you've never answered questions. However, you can change the default dates to include the content of your previous session.
To do this, go to Settings in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard. Then under Default Dates for Performance Stats select the radio button for Custom Dates. Change the first date to reflect the start date in which you want your statistics to be displayed. Change the second date to reflect the end of the exam session you intend on sitting. (Example: If you took the Feb '19 exam and do not want to see any questions you answered from that session during your July '19 exam prep, change your Custom dates to the beginning of the Feb '19 session {August 1, 2018} and ending on the end of the July '19 session {July 31, 2019}).
Please note: these dates can be adjusted at any time. However, it is best not to play around with them too much, as the questions are pulled depending on those dates and the statistics that are shown in your account are also affected by those dates.
The program is designed to not give you repeat questions in Practice Questions mode until you have exhausted all questions of a particular subject based on these dates. In Practice Exams mode, the questions are taken from the database randomly based on the subjects or subtopics you choose, without using our adaptive algorithm. In this mode there is a possibility of seeing duplicate questions before all new questions have been answered. That being said, if you change the dates to include the prior session, questions will be selected factoring in the questions you have already answered during that session. We suggest that you decide when you start the new session if you want to continue from the prior session or start with a clean slate and then stick with those dates.
